Winning $250K Lotto Ticket Sold in New Lenox
The ticket, which is still unclaimed, was sold at the Village Liquor Mart.
Someone in the New Lenox area is $250,000 richer after Saturday’s Little Lotto drawing, making them the third big winner in Will County in the past two weeks.
The winner, who has not yet been identified, matched all five numbers—6, 7, 23, 31 and 33—on the ticket, which was purchased at Village Liquor Mart, 1306 N. Cedar Road.
The store will receive a $2,500 bonus, 1 percent of the jackpot amount, for selling a winning ticket. Previous Will County winners include a $100,000 ticket sold in Lockport on March 31 and a $250,000 ticket sold in Shorewood on April 4.
Earlier this year, lottery agents in New Lenox sold one of the 500 winning $1,000 tickets in this year's Halloween Millionaire Raffle by the Illinois Lottery. The ticket was sold at the Jewel/Osco store on Laraway Road.
The Little Lotto drawing takes place every night at 9:22 p.m. For more information, go to www.illinoislottery.com.
