WEDNESDAY, OCT. 3
High School Dumpster Divers Arrested
Robert Carter, 65, of the 3700 block of 141st Street in Robbins and Alfred L. McGee, 32, of the 0-100 block of 137th Place in Riverdale, were arrested for criminal trespass to state supported land at Lincoln-Way East High School at 201 W. Colorado Avenue in Frankfort. Carter and McGee had been sighted going through the garbage dumpster the previous week and warned by maintenance personnel not to return.
FRIDAY, OCT. 5
Thieves Use Car as Battering Ram
Unknown persons damaged the door of a rental unit on the 1900 block of Clearing Court in New Lenox by ramming it with a vehicle. It was unknown what was stolen.
Two U-Hauls Subject to Theft
Unknown persons stole two catalytic converters from two U-Haul trucks on the 21000 block of S. Center Avenue in New Lenox.
SATURDAY, OCT. 6
Two Saws Stolen in Garage Theft
Unknown persons entered a garage on the 19000 block of Cherry Street in Mokena and stole an electric saw and a chop saw.
