Village Seeks to Honor Residents in Armed Forces With Plaque
The village designed a plaque after opening the new Village Hall that lists people from New Lenox who have served in the Armed Forces.
In the "Home of Proud Americans," the village is reminding residents to pay tribute to their loved ones who have served or are serving in the military.
The village designed a plaque after opening the new Village Hall that lists people from New Lenox who have served in the Armed Forces.
"We realize the great sacrifices that they make on a daily basis and pray that none will ever face the ultimate sacrifice," a village news release stated.
To submit a name to the village, download this registration form and return it to the vilage. The forms asks for his or her name, their branch of military and entry date into service.
