The top two headlines in New Lenox Patch this week were disconcerting—one involved a drug-induced homicide and the other involved sex in a busy parking lot.
A New Lenox man was arrested Tuesday and charged with drug-induced homicide in the death of a 27-year-old man on Nov. 25, 2012. Police said a heroin overdose was the cause of death.

The pair was charged after being discovered inside a car in a Jewel-Osco store parking lot, Joliet police said.
