Tickets Still Available for Jan. 14 Jim Peterik Concert

The Survivor frontman's concert will feature four classic rockers performing at Lincoln-Way West, with proceeds going to the Lincoln-Way Foundation.

Tickets are still available for Grammy winner Jim Peterik's return trip to New Lenox this weekend, where he'll be joined by three other classic rockers this winter for a super-group concert.

Peterik, who as the frontman for Survivor wrote Eye of the Tiger, ran a music camp at in July, and now he will return Saturday, Jan. 14, for a show at .

Tickets are on sale only at . There were 900 available seats, and seating will be assigned. Tickets range from $30 to $60 depending on where the seats are.

Mayor Tim Baldermann said it's also possible but not guaranteed that tickets would be available at the door.

All the proceeds from the show would go to the Lincoln-Way Foundation, which raises money for various projects and equipment at the high schools. The concert doesn't have any cost for the village, but staff would be in charge of organizing it.

The show, called "Jim Peterik's World Stage," would also feature:

  • Mike Reno of Loverboy;
  • Rik Emmett of Triumph; and
  • Kelly Keagy of Night Ranger.
