A New Lenox man was charged with an aggravated DUI last weekend while already on probation for a separate DUI incident that occurred last year.

Nicholas W. Huntington, 24, of the 100 block of Towncrest Drive in New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence, driving on a revoked license, speeding and making an improper turn in addition to the aggravated DUI charge.

Kathy Hoffmeyer, a Will County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman, said Illinois State Police arrested Huntington at 1:47 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, near La Grange Road and Interstate 80.

Huntington was taken to Will County Jail and was given a $5,000 bail. State police couldn't immediately provide further details about the arrest.

But according county's booking website, Huntington ws charged with an aggravated DUI that resulted in an injury to someone else.

According to Will County Court records, Huntington was serving 30 months probation for a previous DUI arrest. He pleaded guilty last year to aggravated DUI charges stemming from an Oct. 9, 2010, arrest.
