UPDATE: L-W Central's Jackovich Gets the Biggest Roar from the Crowd

Lincoln-Way Central girls water polo standout Danijela Jackovich made a big splash in Patch's weekly MVP voting. She outpolled 11 others to become eligible for April Patch Athlete of the Month recognition.

Who gets the biggest roar from the crowd this week?
Marian Catholic standout Julian Childers won the A Flight championship and powered the Spartans to the team title at the Lockport Invitational. Marian Catholic totaled 51 points.
Shepard's Ramsey Hamdan went 2-for-4, including a game-winning two-run homer, in the Astros' 10-8 baseball victory over Evergreen Park. He drove in five runs.
Homewood-Flossmoor's Kaitlyn Shereyk was swinging a hot bat for the Vikings. She went 3-for-4, including a three-run homer, and drove in four runs in a 20-4 victory over Reavis. She had four hits in four at-bats and added four RBIs in a 12-2 win over Bradley-Bourbonnais.
Chicago Christian's Becky DeRuiter pitched a five-inning perfect game in the Knights' 15-0 victory over Aurora Christian. She also went 2-for-4 and had two RBIs.
Bloom Township's Andi Hernandez scored three goals in the Blazing Trojans' 9-2 girls soccer victory over Rich South.
