New Lenox Man and His Dad Busted for Drugs

A father and son team were busted at Hollywood Casino in Joliet for possession of a controlled substance.

A father and son team were caught Feb. 8 on a surveillance camera in what turned out to be a drug deal in the parking lot at Hollywood Casino in Joliet.

Kenneth Bock, 28, 100 block of Tall Grass Road, New Lenox, and his dad, 55-year-old Kevin Bock, 7200 block of W. 154 Street, Orland Park, were captured by Illinois State Police on surveillance cameras at Hollywood Casino, Joliet, in what appeared to be a drug deal.

According to Joliet police, who processed the pair on behalf of ISP, the two appeared suspicious while they were standing by a van at 11:30 a.m. When ISP arrived, they found the two were in possession of 50 pills identified as hydrocodone. Neither of the two had a prescription for the pills.

Police said they were given permission to search the van and found another 50-count container of hydrocodone.

The pair were booked into Will County Jail pending formal charges for possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $25,000 each.
