I don't understand why everyone defends a dr right away. Say if this was a truck driver and women were coming forward saying "everytime this truck driver comes into this gas station he touches us as he walks by us." Would everyone defend the women or truck driver as much as they are defending Dr. Jain??? Why are people saying these women are lying??????

First of all I'm pretty sure the financial gain for saying a truck driver groped you isn't much! Second of all comparing a well know and highly respected peditrician to a truck driver is pretty silly. And really waiting 4 years to come out and say he groped me on more than one occasion but I continued to go back to him is ridiculous! Come on now let's se what other women can jump on the bandwagon here!

Nicole, I think it's silly to think a truck driver doesn't have much to offer financially. I know union truck drivers that make a VERY good living. But, thats besides the point. Also, not everyone thinks of him highly. He is innocent until proven guilty, yet that these women are automatically being called liars.

i'm can't argue with you people anymore. i will continue to pray for dr. jain and his family and for the truth to be found.

My kids have seen Dr. Jain when their primary was unavailable. Although these are shocking allegations, never, ever blame the victims. Stand by your doctor if you choose but leave the women out of your defense.

My Children have seen Dr. Jain over the years and i have found him to be very nice and a good dr. but people are not just one thing and to debate this on the Patch and be rude commenting that people are lying and jumping on a money band wagon is immature or ignorant. Ignorant meaning you do not know the facts and talking about them with out being privalaged to the facts is a waist of time. Good people can do things we in society do not think is good. Just because you know your side does not mean you should be throwing mud at the people coming forward and telling their side. It show a lack of maturity. It may be that you are younger and do not have more worldly experience or your experiences have not yet gotten to the place where you know about these things. I do not mean that as a rude comment just a life comment. To fry Dr. Jain or the women is rude. Pray for them and keep your comments of no knowedlge of the facts to yourself. This is a society of express yourselves immediatly at all costs without considering of others. Both sides of these people are hurting . Why keep throwing mud....

I took my kids to Dr Jain, if he ever tried to touch me I would have told someone right away and at the very least not gone back???

How does a lawyer admit he's unsure as to whom he's representing? How can you be confused about your client's name? If this lawyer doesn't even know what's going on, how are we supposed to believe what they're claiming?

I have known Dr. Jain since I was a child. He has seen all three of my children for the past 13.5 years. I do know for a fact the allegations against him in the past were absolutely false!! While I understand victims are often times reluctant to come forward out of fear and embarrassment, I also know that professionals with malpractice insurance can be viewed as a gold mine. I am very angry to see Dr. Jain be in this situation. He has ALWAYS been courteous, professional and appropriate!! I wish him well and I pray for his accusers.

Why I am having a problem with this is why did the women go back a second time after the first encounter.. I have known Dr. Jain for 25 yrs, 23 yrs having been working at Hedges. That being said if Dr Jain or any other Dr. did or said anythong that made me feel uncomfortable, they would have been called on it immmediately. Not wait 5 yrs . I wouoldn't wait until others told their stories before it told mine....

My question is, why is a pediatrician seeing adults? There should never have been a reason for him to be touching / examining a woman in the first place. I am not taking sides either way, that's for the courts to figure out, but the whole story doesn't make complete sense.

It's obvious he selected certain women to fondle and sexually harass. Why can't the Jain supporters understand this? Innocent victims should never be blamed for the disgusting acts of the accused. Blame solely lies on Dr Jain and Hedges clinic for allowing this to go on as long as it did.

why are these women going back to dr jain after they say he molested them? doesn't make any sense! if this ever once happened to me or either of my daughters i would of been out of there so fast and believe me hedges would have heard about it. i keep thinking these women should not have gone to a pediatrician for female problems and then not expect to be examined! this whole thing is really making me mad,dr jain is a kind and caring dr.i just pray the whole truth comes out.it's a shame it's a money hungry world.how many more are gonna come out to say the same thing!

Dr Jain is a wonderful doctor, he would never do anything like this! My whole family has seen him for years. It's a shame what people will say for a little bit of money! I pray the truth comes out that these women are lying! I've never met a more caring and loyal doctor in my life. Not for one second do I believe what they are saying!

Dr. Jain was my pediatrician and is now my children's pediatrician. He is a one of a kind doctor!! I'm so sad that this is happening to him. He is such a caring and gentle man. And I don't think it's Dr. Jain who is picking the "victims" these women know what they are doing and who they are doing it to! I'm praying for you Dr. Jain!!

I can't believe you people. I am an RN and have personnally spent time with both Dr. Jain as well as one of the accusers. I have no doubt that many people feel that Dr. Jain is a good doctor, he couldn't have had this successful of a practice for this long. However, he is accused of these crimes. He is innocent until proven guilty. And his accusers, they are all risking their reputations and their credibility by coming forward. I have read the comments silently for too long now. All of you are SELF RIGHTEOUS, JUDGMENTAL, & IGNORANT. Half if you would lynch Dr. Jain and the other half would burn the accusers at the stake. We don't nor should we judge why somone would return to him. Perhaps they couldn't believe it, perhaps they blamed themselves, perhaps it never happened. But it is up the the authorities and the courtsto decide not the comment section of the patch. ALL if these people involved have supporters and families and loved ones who most likely read your judgemental tirades and I'm sure it hurts them very much. Think about what you post, have some empathy and SHUT UP!

According to the article all together at least 9 women have accused him of molesting them. There is no way they are all lying, too many accusers. And to his past patients who believe him because he treated your children, yourself, or spouse without incident, its most likely because he is only attracted to his victim group. I'm attracted to half nude women in their 20's, early 30's too, but unlike Dr. Jain I have self control and don't grope them, unless they give permission of course.

Okay, I had the breast examination by the good doctor. However, I am not traumatized over it. But I did think myself an idiot for letting it happen. The lines are very fine once you are up against them. I feel for his wife and family. I'm sure he is not proud of himself. He was a kind caring doctor. It's all such a shame. And for the victims, I have to say, be strong. Learn from this. It was not your fault!

Why is he listed as a family practitioner? I have a question for hedges clinic. Why we're these women patients in the first place. Knowing his past, where was the nurse? And to the naysayers, you would be surprised what can happen in a few minutes. A lot.

Unfortunately most of these women trusted that what Dr. Jain did was medically necessary and not wrong. I had gone to him for 27 years and there was a few times that he made me feel extremely uncomfortable. But I shook it off as him just being a doctor. And no most women aren't going to come out with it right away. Exactly said in previous comments, he is a well known and respected Dr. I feel that these ladies are brave. No one knows what courage it takes to report something like this until they have experienced it themselves!!!

These accusations are true...it happened to me but I was never involved in any lawsuits. He had been my pediatrician and had never been inappropriate when I was a child. When I had my first child in 1993 I brought him to Dr. Jain and he suggested he examine me as well and at this point behaved inappropriately. There was no nurse present because I was not the patient. I felt uncomfortable so i stopped him before it went to far. I notified the clinic about my concerns but was not taken seriously. I trusted the man who had cared for me throughout my childhood and many of the accusers may have trusted him as well.

The only time I have ever had a breast examine done is while having a yearly Pap smear done by my obgyn!! I still don't understand why these woman are having breast examines done by Dr. Jain??

Dr is guilty admits his wife/ fiancé is crazy and that he didn't believe her but now he does!!!! Lol!! If I came home and told my husband I was groped by a dr. He of course would believe me, never allow me to go back to that dr, and we would together go to the police and file a complaint!! There's a reason her fiancé didn't believe her!!

I'm the youngest of four girls, and we all were his patients. We're grown up now, and I am confident he is innocent. He was always caring and professional. Never once did I nor my sisters feel uncomfortable. I've been his patient since the day I was born, I trust the man. Those women should not have been under his care in the first place, too old to be considered a kid. And if they felt uncomfortable, why go back? It doesn't fit. Even if you feel ashamed, doesn't mean go to the same doctor again. Its very hard to believe that man that treated me for 18 years is guilty. Its awful to think that if he is found innocent which he should be, his life is ruined no matter what. My family stands by him, good doctor not a predator.

The defense attorneys need to see how many claims these women have made. What I mean by claims is workmans comp, slipping on ice in July.
As one post said above check the county records for Kelly and see herhistory. It may surprise you...
