My End of the Bargain: Sorry, Cheeseheads

As part of a Patch vs. Patch wager, I must apologize to Wisconsin for betting on the Bears last weekend.

Last week, I confidently agreed to a bet with Lyssa Beyer, the Patch editor in Port Washington-Saukville, Wisc., over who would win the big Bears-Packers game Sunday.

So confident, in fact, I thought the Bears would win 34-21.

We posted our top three reasons why our team would win, and even got our elected officials in on the action. The agreement was that if our team lost, we would have to put on the other team's jersey and issue an apology to the opposing Patch town.

We all know how the game turned out. So here's your apology video, Cheeseheads. Enjoy the Super Bowl while you still have a real team in season.
