This week, all pictures were submitted by the Will County Sheriff's Department and taken when the accused were booked between Jan. 2-Jan. 8.

Information for the Mug Shot Gallery is provided by law enforcement agencies. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If you or a family member are charged or cited and the case is subsequently adjudicated, we encourage you to notify the editor. We will verify and report the outcome.

Maybe it was the outstanding warrant? Secondly, isn't this gentlemen the brother of the lady who ran over her boyfriend/baby daddy, Christine Meyers?

Kyron Birk, 28, Mokena, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's Police on Jan. 4. He was remanded from court. No bond was set.

I wonder what the charge was.

" Stacy Niemiec, 51, Lisle, was arrested by Frankfort Police on Jan. 5 and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. She was also charged with three felony counts of aggravated DUI, two misdemeanor counts of DUI and three traffic violations. "

Wowsa. I'm no reporter, but surely there is more to the story. Why 5 DUI counts? Do they convict on the first count, then try you on subsequent counts as repeat-offender ?
