Lincoln-Way West's Colin McGovern, a senior football player, is ceremoniously signing his National Letter of Intent at 3 p.m. today in the Warriors Lodge, but already the Fighting Irish has posted a YouTube showing off its new recruit.

McGovern is one of several students formally signing letters of intent at Lincoln-Way West and at Lincoln-Way Central in ceremonies this afternoon. Look to Patch later today for a full list of letter-of-intent signers.

In March 2012, McGovern expressed a verbal commitment to play Notre Dame football. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound tackle, had drawn lots of interest from major football programs. He had 14 offers from schools around the country.
