Cases of Interest

Burglary, Identity Theft: On Feb. 13, a male subject was observed smashing a car window and stealing a purse from a vehicle at Premier Fitness. The male subject then entered another car driven by a second subject. The victim’s credit card was used at a Speedway Gas Station in Frankfort. An investigation led to warrants being obtained for husband and wife Daniel and Patsy Stephens. Daniel Stephens was charged with burglary and identity theft and Patsy was charged with burglary.

Theft of Services: Police say Felicia Remblake and her daughter received more than $230 worth of services from the Nail & Spa Salon on Feb. 25. Their credit cards were declined, police said, at which point they fled the salon. Felicia Remblake was later arrested and charged with a felony theft.

Residential Burglary: A juvenile was charged with residential burglary after the victim reported noticing several items missing from her apartment over the past several months. A witness observed the juvenile offender in the victim’s apartment and provided the juvenile’s name. A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of the juvenile. The juvenile was also charged with violation of an order of protection from a separate case. The juvenile was sent to River Valley Detention Center as a result of these charges.
