For those of you who haven’t discovered Harry Potter yet, let me tell you a little bit about it.  Harry Potter is being raised by his terrible aunt and uncle after his parents were killed by the evil wizard Voldemort when he was a baby.

Harry survived the attack but was left with a lightning-bolt scar on his forehead. His aunt and uncle don’t want Harry to find out that he is a wizard. After 10 miserable years Harry is summoned to Hogworts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry where he discovers that he is a wizard just like his parents.

This story is so full of magic and unique events that you never want to put the book down. Harry meets a dragon, a centaur and fights a three-headed dog. He learns how to fly on a broom and play a sport while flying called Quidditch. Harry also makes two of the best friends anyone can have.

You will find so much more than magic in this book. You will read about emotions, fears and triumphs. All of these events lead up to Harry having another encounter with Voldemort, the evil wizard who killed his parents.
