SEA CADET REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR YOUTH AGES 10-17 IN NEW LENOX AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

We are the General Colin L Powell Division of the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps. Our division drills on the 1st and the 3rd Saturday of each month.  The USNSCC is a leadership program with an emphasis on duty, honor, personal responsibility, and academic excellence.

The USNSCC has two principle paths. The first is the Navy League Cadets (NLCC) which is geared for youth 10-12 years old. Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) is designed for boys and girls 13+.

We comply with the ADA law.   A medical examination similar to a high school sports physical is required for all cadet applicants.  No one will be denied admission to the NSCC/NLCC due to a medical disability.  Where a medical condition precludes full, unlimited participation, a Request for Accommodation may be presented by the parent or guardian so the cadet may participate in NSCC activities to the maximum extent possible.
